With a theme, "Sail with Korea Wave – Content, Inspiration and New Media: Leading the generation of new wave", APLA (Asia Pacific Lottery Association) 2015 ANNUAL REGIONAL CONFERENCE is being held under the auspices of the Korea Lottery Commission & The Asia Pacific Lotteries Association at the Grand Hyatt Seoul in Seoul.
Through his welcome message at the Grand Hyatt Seoul in an opening ceremony, held on Oct. 19th evening, 2nd vice minister Bang Moon-gyu for the Ministry of Strategy and Finance Chairman of The Korea Lottery Commission said: "Lottery industry in Korea has been advancing rapidly and established remarkable results such as settling a healthy leisure culture, share culture, and strengthening national welfare. Particularly, along with the growth of industrial-scale of lottery, it developed its own unique system by utilizing the world’s leading IT technology. In addition, we concentrate to spread ‘sharing culture’ by assisting the low-income and social welfare with funds raised from the lottery.
"The ‘APLA 2015 Annual Regional Conference', where lottery-related people from all over the world gather around, is held and organized to re-focus the recent developments of lottery industry in Korea and furthermore Asia Pacific region, and to strengthen international cooperation at the conference. In addition to establishing global network of lottery industry, this meeting will provide an opportunity to discover the future ways of the lottery in Korea and Asia", added Bang
Touching upon a fact that The Conference Theme is “Sail with Korea Wave – Content, Inspiration and New Media”, chairman Dato Lawrence Lim Swee Lin of Asia Pacific Lottery Association noted that The Business Program is packed with many interesting topics to cover these 3 key segments and I am sure delegates will take home with them many key learning points.
In addition, delegates will be presented with networking opportunities as this event is where lottery industry peers in the Region can meet to share and exchange ideas with one another, the chairman said.
