-5 Envoys from The Seoul Diplomatic Corps. receive 2016 Amb. Friendship Awards
As Korea Consumer Awards organized by Korea Consumer Association as well as The NDNnews & Seoulcity magazine (www.ndnnews.co.kr) greets its 4th edition this year, Diplomatic Corps' interest as well is being heightenied more and more than ever.
As if reflecting such high interest, 5 recipient ambassadors in the category of the 2016 Amb. Friendship Award attended this year's Korea Consumer Awards Ceremony held at the Conventional Hall, National Assembly on 2 p.m, June 1st 2016.
In particular, Oman envoy Mohamed Salim Alharthy who has been serving as top Oman envoy in Korea over six years, gave his congratulatory remarks on behalf of all 5 recipients ambassadors, expressing his personal thanks for the bestowing on him as well. The other 4 recipients ambassadors were Czech Amb. Tomas Husak, Latvia envoy Peteris Vaivars, Kyrgyz Amb. Askar Beshimov, and last but not least Myanmar envoy Thura H. Thet Oo Maung.
Touching upon the fact that consumer-oriented management is emerging as a key element for all corporate activities, Mr. Lee Jong-hoon, Chairman of the board of directors from Han sung university said: "I sincerely hope that all of you recipients would join hands for Korea to be ushered into a consumer power in the world". It is impossible for the corporations which disregard consumer's right & interests, to continue sustainable growth, Lee pointed out in front of participants who gathered at the Conventional Hall, National Assemboly over 350 guests including Diplomatic Corps & their Embassy senior diplomats and staffs.
Host president Shin Hyun-doo who operates Korea Consumer Association and The NDNnews & Seoulcity magazine etc., emphasized the important role of consumers, saying that individual consumers may be weak, but they are strong than cast iron and can change the world as well.
Assemblymen Hong Il-pyo, Jin Sun-mi & Kim Hak-yong etc. joined the Consumer 2016 Awards Ceremony besides Jeongeup City mayor Kim Saeng-ki including recipients corporations over 70 who graced this year's Consumer Awards 2016.
